Community impact
Showing up where it matters
We serve Forsyth County through single-day projects, targeted drives, and year-long initiatives — meeting real needs alongside the partners who know them best.
How we serve
Three ways we show up
Every project we take on is matched to a real, identified need — sourced from community partners, school social workers, and the families we serve alongside. We don't show up once. We show up consistently.
Done in a Day
Single-day, hands-on projects that mobilize members to support community partners during moments that matter — assembling essential items, supporting events, or stepping in where a partner needs extra hands.
Drives
Targeted seasonal drives that rally donations from members, families, and local businesses. Our current focus is food insecurity and school supply access — making sure neighbors have what they need at home and children have what they need in the classroom.
Year-long initiatives
Sustained, multi-month partnerships built around ongoing community needs. These are our deepest commitments — designed to create lasting change, not one-time relief.
2026 Signature Service Project
Pack to the Future
Supplies Today. Success Tomorrow.
Pack to the Future is a community partnership led by the Forsyth County Junior Service League in collaboration with Ministries of Grace / Meals by Grace. Together, we provide brand-new backpacks filled with grade-level school supplies to children whose families rely on food assistance and who are identified by Ministries of Grace / Meals by Grace's social worker — some referred through the school district — as being at risk of arriving to school unequipped to learn.
Each backpack is more than supplies. It's a message that this community sees that child, believes in them, and is showing up for them before the first bell rings.

Launching September 2026
Fueling Forsyth
Fueling Forsyth is our emerging school pantry initiative, launching this September in partnership with Helping Hands Ending Hunger. Our first partner pantry is in a local high school — already providing shelf-stable foods and hygiene items to families in need. Through Fueling Forsyth, we are adding fresh produce to what families can take home.
Those boxes go home over weekends and long school breaks, when the cafeteria is closed and the need doesn't stop. The need is great — and with community support and local sponsors behind us, more schools and expanded offerings are on the horizon.
